I love spring time here in Japan. Living near the Kintai-kyo bridge, we get to experience the beautiful cherry blossoms that bloom. This year the weather was a bit temperamental and it was hit or miss when visiting the blooms. Luckily we got a few good days to visit and view the flowers.
Here are some of the beautiful photos my clients took at Kintai-kyo bridge during cherry blossoms this year. They are all done by some of my favorite photographers. We are lucky to have so many talented ones stationed here in Iwakuni. All of the ladies in the photos makeup was done by myself.
Recently I got to help out Jessica Guthrie, from Jessica Guthrie Photography, with a Japan inspired photo shoot. I had so much fun doing this shoot. The look was barely there makeup. I love how the photos came out. All of the ladies look so beautiful.
I love helping young ladies get ready for Prom. Their youthful excited, energy always makes for a fun atmosphere. Here are some of the ladies I managed to snap photos of when I did their makeup a few weeks back for Prom 2015. They are all just so beautiful!
This beautiful young lady was crowned Prom Queen! I love the amazing color of her baby blue eyes. We kept her makeup pretty natural with Face Atelier foundation (my favorite!) to even out her skin tone. We chose the Ardel Demi lashes to enhance her naturally long lashes.
It was a smokey eye look for this beauty, and I love how it came out. I added some House of Lashes false eye lashes to really make her eyes pop. I enhanced her amazing brows with some Anastasia Beverly Hills brow powder.
The lighting is a bit off in this pic, but this young lady looked absolutely beautiful in person. She wanted a gold shadow look that was more smokey in the corners and I love how it turned out on her. We went with some House of Lashes false lashes in Feline to really make her eyes pop.
This last young lady is stunning, and barely needed any foundation because she had such beautiful skin. we wen with a more natural look, but used the Anastasia contour palette because she wanted a bit of that Kardashian-esque contour. Again we used some House of Lashes false lashes to make her eyes pop.
Did you go to your High School prom? What was your favorite Part? Mine was getting ready. I loved getting my hair done and picking out a beautiful dress to wear.
