I love trying new makeup. Something new, fun, pretty, most likely with some sort of sparkle or shine to it, just brightens my day. I enjoy sitting and playing with the newest addition to my collection. Bringing it home and trying on different looks is fun for me.
I know a lot of women feel this way. They go to the makeup counter and become hyptnotized with the glitz and glam and the beautiful array of options. They pick out their favorite and bring it home, unpack it and put it away in a drawer, or in their vanity, or heck, even just on top of their bathroom counter. What happens at that point? After all the appeal of pretty girls and shiny lights are gone and you are home. Sometimes you realize you don't know what in the world to do with your new product. Your makeup that you were so excited about just sits there, sometimes still in it's box, quietly waiting to be opened and used. I love teaching women new makeup techniques, and how to actually use their makeup. It's great to see someone excited to use something they didn't think they could apply themselves. Sure, the bright blue eyeliner looked great in the store, but you may wonder how to wear it everyday without looking like you came straight out of 1987? I have had numerous people contact me about makeup lessons, and because of this I have decided to offer individual and small group makeup classes to the small community I live in. You can come alone, or make it a girls night with some friends. I know I love learning new techniques myself, I can't wait to help others learn some new things too!
