- Important Things to Know -

Cancellation
As a small-business owner, it’s difficult to fill your appointment time in under 24 hours notice which means I do not get paid for that missed work. Cancellations less than 24-hour notice will be charged 50% of the booked service total. An invoice will be sent via square. Thank you for your consideration and for supporting a small business. 

Arrival
Please have the appropriate forms filled out prior to your appointment.  Arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Arriving early will not guarantee your service will start before your scheduled appointment time. Please text ahead to check if your service can be started before the scheduled time. 

Late Arrival
We understand that it can be difficult at times to arrive on time for appointments. Please text or call if you will be late. The full allotted appointment time cannot be guaranteed if you are late. Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more are considered no show appointments and will be charged 50% of the booked service total.

Travel
All services, unless otherwise noted, will take place in-studio. A mileage fee will be charged for on location makeup services.  Travel fee for first ten (10) miles outside the studio is $45. Each additional mile is $2. Parking fee/tolls must be paid by client.

Liability
All tools, brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are cleaned between every application. Catrina takes every necessary precaution prior to and during the commission of your service. Catrina respects your privacy and requests full disclosure of any allergies, medications or conditions that may require her to modify the service as this would be to your benefit and medical wellness. If need be, a sample test may be performed on the skin to test reaction. 

Sickness and Allergies
If you show up for an appointment and are sick, getting over a sickness, or show signs of severe allergies, this includes but not limited to coughing, sneezing, congestion, you will be refused service and will be charged to re-book an appointment. *NOTE: it is normal that we sometimes cough to clear our throats or sneeze. Allergies are very common and can cause symptoms similar to a cold or flu. It will be at the discretion of Catrina Tengan to choose to do a service if symptoms appear unusual or more severe than just normal allergies due to pollen, etc. It is not advised that someone with severe allergies to get a facial at that time, as the skin can be more reactive and sensitive to products used in treatments.

Lost or Stolen Items
Catrina Tengan is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep all personal items with you. 

Cell Phones
I want you to relax and enjoy your time with me, please leave cell phones on silent or vibrate. If you are expecting a call, please et me know and we can keep your phone out and easily accessible.

Product Return Policy  
Products must be returned within 2 weeks, with the full value returned in the form of a gift card, which can be redeemed for other products. Products must be at least 80% full to receive full credit.  All returns must show receipt of purchase if the Catrina Tengan is not aware of the client’s product purchase.  Please call or email Catrina Tengan immediately, if you have any concerns or issues with the products you purchased so that she can address any product issues quickly. Please call or email if you can not return a product within 2 weeks.

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash, and are nonrefundable. Gift Certificates and Gift Cards must be present at the time of service and/or any codes must be used at booking.

Packages/ Memberships
All Packages/Memberships purchased are not redeemable for cash, are nonrefundable, and non-transferable. Packages/Memberships must be used by the expiration. 

Payment
We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept personal checks or traveler's checks. Cash is accepted but you must have exact change. Catrina Tengan does not have a cash drawer and can not provide change.

Gratuity
Gratuity is not included, not expected, but always appreciated.

Guests
Guest must be at least 18 years old to receive spa services. Anyone under 18 years of age, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and must be attended to at all times. 

When Receiving Services
During your facial is the best to relax, and enjoy your service. It is important that the Esthetician is able to focus on your service and skincare needs. It is preferred for you to leave your child/ minor at home, if possible. 

​Right To Refuse Service
Catrina is a licensed professional who reserves the right to refuse service at her discretion and dismiss disruptive or abusive clients when necessary.
